The Andreanum - Peaceful coexistence between ethnic communities discussion was held in Strasbourg

The event was opened by Zsolt Németh, head of the Hungarian delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. In his introduction, he called territorial autonomy a key institution of democratic participation, which greatly contributes to the economic development and development of a region.
At the event, József Komlóssy, a member of the Friends of Hungary Foundation, who is also the adviser on minority affairs of the Hungarian delegation, spoke, who highlighted the importance of the Adrenaum in the life of the Saxons, as well as the possibilities of autonomy in the development of a nationality, and also emphasized that: "Our goal is a Europe without divisions creation, we want to preserve Europe's diversity, its national, cultural and religious diversity".
Armin Laschet, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and Ian Liddell-Grainger, former leader of the Conservative Group of the Parliamentary Assembly, also took part in the conversation. Both praised the Andreanum, which was one of the first historical documents to grant rights to an ethnic community within a given state.
