It was with deep sadness that members of the Friends of Hungary Foundation and its supporters around the world have received tha sad news that after a long illness Mariann Vízkelety had passed away. It is a great loss for me personally, as we were able to work very well together.

She was loved and respected for her personality as well as her work, among Hungarians around the world and by her colleagues at home. Her selfless work in the board of trustees of our Friends of Hungary Foundation is irreplaceable.
