Middle Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit to Paul Demény

Friends of Hungary member Paul Demény receives Middle Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit.
The prestigious award was presented by Minister Zoltán Balog on the occassion of Hungarian National Holiday August 20th, as a recognition of the outstanding professional work of Paul Demény.
Mr. Demény is demograph, economist, external member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, former scientific fellow of the Population Council of New York, founder and former editor-in-chief of the Population and Development Review.
