Reinhard Olt: Im Karpatenbogen

Budapest, 2020

In his German-language book, journalist Reinhard Olt provides an excellent overview of the history of the Hungarian and German minorities living in the Carpathian Basin from World War I to the present day. The book was published on the 100th anniversary of the Trianon Peace Dictate, presenting a topic of such great importance for our nation from the perspective of a German author.

Reinhard Olt, a member of the Friends of Hungary Foundation, is one of the most well-known publicists in Europe and has been the editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung for several decades, whose writings are scientifically sound and provide an excellent source for historians. The foreword to the book was written by Vizi E. Szilveszter, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees. For the publication of the German-language volume, we purchased images from the MTI press photo database, the text was proofread by Muriel Wagner, and the printing was done by Pauker Holding Kft. The Hungarian translation of the book was published by the Pro Minoritate Foundation.
